**Key Responsibilities:**
– Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to transport goods across local, regional, and national routes.
– Adhere to all driving regulations and compliance requirements.
– Perform vehicle checks before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness.
– Secure and ensure the safe transportation of goods.
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any relevant documentation.
– Communicate effectively with the transport team to provide updates on delivery progress.
– Handle goods with care, ensuring they are delivered undamaged.
– Occasionally assist with loading and unloading.

**Requirements:**
– Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
– Up-to-date CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
– Proven experience in general haulage or similar work.
– Strong understanding of driving laws, health & safety, and tachograph regulations.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– Flexible approach to working hours and shifts, including weekends or nights, if required.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are recruiting for a 3.5T Van Driver for our client, based in Stoke-on-Trent. NOT MULTI DROP !!!

This role can be offered around current availability and commitments, whether full time or part time or adhoc shifts-Reliability is key!

Job Details

  • Experienced 3.5T Van Driver needed for ongoing work
  • Delivering across the UK
  • The client is based out of Stoke-on-Trent
  • Light deliveries
  • Training is provided
  • Days shifts
  • Van will be pre-loaded, but you will be required to check the load is correct.

Job Requirements

  • Full UK Driving License or equivalent (with no more than 3 points, SP only)
  • A minimum of 6 months UK 3.5 tonne van experience
  • A good level of physical fitness is an advantage
  • A good level of numeracy and literacy required
  • Must own a smartphone (for delivery destinations and proof of delivery)
  • Must be tech savvy and has knowledge of using WhatsApp and other applications
  • Daily vehicle check must be carried out

Driver Pay and Hours

  • £12.00-12.50/hour Monday to Friday
  • Ongoing work for the right candidate and Temp to Perm Contract Available
  • Length of shift varies but will be paid for a minimum of 8 hours
  • 24/7 support and assistance

Class 1 drivers NIGHTS-Filled

Class 1 LGV Drivers Night

We are working with a leading Vet provider, we are looking for a Class 1 driver to work from Sunday to Thursday, start time are 2300hrs.

Stoke on Trent , Staffordshire.

  • Guaranteed 8-hour minimum paid shift.
  • Excellent rates of pay
  • Temp to Perm contract
  • Paid assessment and induction day (if contract requires)

Duties & Responsibilities: –

  • A minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience required.
  • A driving assessment may be required, dependent on contract.
  • No more than 6 points on license.

Hours: –

  • Sunday to Thursday
  • 2300-0930hrs Approx

We are recruiting for 2 Fabrication Operatives, for a company based in Stone, Staffordshire. The role will involve a variety of work. The role is on a rotational shift pattern working Monday to Friday, overtime is available after training period.

This position will include a high level of physical work, so manual training will be given

  • Grooving and Threading bars
  • Powder Coating
  • Sawing
  • Operating a semi automated weld machine

Health & Safety Manager-No longer Available

We are representing a leading manufacturing company based in Stone, Staffordshire. We are looking for a Health & safety Manager to effectively manage day to day quality practices within the business, reporting into the H&S Director.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promote and improve the awareness and accountability of individuals in relation to the H&S environment. Develop and maintain a sense of ownership amongst the workforce and a safety-first culture.
  • Day to day management and monitoring of Health and Safety systems including:
  • Regular inspection and observation to ensure compliance and to identify and implement improvements.
  • Maintain up to date documentation.
  • Management reporting
  • Feedback to employees
  • Ensure accurate reporting and recording of hazards, workplace incidents and injuries. Ensure adequate procedures are implemented to avoid recurrence Promote the use of near miss reporting to identify and eliminate / mitigate risks before they become accidents.
  • Ensure staff are working in a safe and secure environment and that they use best practices of occupational safety & health. Be a point of reference and advice.
  • Organise meetings and minutes for the existing Health & Safety committee.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Ensure all Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work are complete and up to date.
  • Be the liaison point in relation to COSH and other such substances.
  • Take responsibility for employee training and keep training records up to date.
  • Arrange surveys (e.g. noise etc) as appropriate.
  • Assists the Management team in managing a Safe System of Work (SSOW) and Permit to Work (PTW) system for general site safety and safety from the system across the business.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve all aspects of the Company’s Quality systems, including:
  • Documentation and reporting
  • Communication of issues, improvements, and developments in Quality throughout the business
  • Devolving responsibility for quality down through the business to ensure all employees recognise their role in the process
  • Dealing with supplier issues and securing improvement
  • Sensitive handling of issues with customers in conjunction with sales team.
  • Experience in ensure ongoing compliance with the following standards: ISO 9001-2015
  • BRCGS Packaging Materials
  • FSC certification
  • Complete regular inspections of the Company’s Quality Management systems to ensure compliance and to identify and implement improvements.
  • Identify and plan for attainment of new standards as appropriate.
  • Maintain the Company’s adherence to current HARM / HACAPP requirements.
  • Hold monthly quality meetings to review performance and identify and implement improvements.
  • Keeping abreast of legislation, developments, and best practices within their areas of expertise, highlighting any implications for the business.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Formal training in H&S in the work place  as a minimum IOSH, NEBOSH (preferred)
  • Management experience, promoting H&S and a culture of health, safety and environmental responsibility across the organisation
  • Experience of internal auditing
